Kristen Lang-Coleman is a Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with a clinical focus on addressing health literacy, health disparities, and health inequities by offering education and access to healthcare. Her main goal is to help adults achieve and maintain their optimal level of health.

Kristen has been a registered nurse for 20 years, and she has dedicated 6 of those years to serving and working as a nurse practitioner. She has worked and served in many capacities throughout the years within local hospital systems as a Clinical Nurse Leader, Manager, and Clinical Educator. She has also served as a theory and clinical instructor for Georgia State University, South College Atlanta, West Coast University, and Bishop State Community College. 

Kristen received an Associate Degree in Nursing from Bishop State Community College (2001), a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix (2008), a Masters of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Nursing/Health Care Education(2011), also from the University of Phoenix, a Post-Masters Certification as a Clinical Nurse Leader (2014) from University of West Georgia and a Post-Masters Certification with a focus on Adult- Geriatric Nurse Practitioner from South University  (2016). She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree as a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama (2023).

When not in the office, Kristen enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on the Crimson Tide.
