About Us

Kristen L. Coleman NP-BC

Kristen Lang-Coleman is a Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with a clinical focus on addressing health literacy, health disparities, and health inequities by offering education and access to healthcare. Kristen has been a registered nurse for 20 years, and she has dedicated 6 of those years to serving and working as a nurse practitioner.

Kristen received an Associate Degree in Nursing from Bishop State Community College (2001), a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix (2008), a Masters of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Nursing/Health Care Education(2011), also from the University of Phoenix, a Post-Masters Certification as a Clinical Nurse Leader (2014) from University of West Georgia and a Post-Masters Certification with a focus on Adult- Geriatric Nurse Practitioner from South University (2016), and completed her doctoral degree as a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama (2023).

When not in the office, Kristen enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on the Crimson Tide!
